Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a Kaiawhina who is hardworking, passionate, loves working with people and their whanau in promoting health equity, and has had previous experience working within a community setting.

Registered Nurse

 

We are looking for a registered nurse who matches our values and vision to improve the wellbeing and lives of our enrolled population; with a particular focus on addressing health inequalities from Maori, Pacific Island and lower socio-economic peoples.

The practice is situated in Raetihi and the clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. This position is 32 hours per week, although may change and potentially include afterhours clinics.

The general practice is situated in an integrated community centre, which is shared with a pharmacy, library/café and community room; reflecting the aspirations of the community to be a hub of wellbeing.

Whanganui Accident and Medical (WAM) is a subsidiary company of the Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN), established in 2003 as a means to provide our Whanganui community with improved access to primary and urgent after-hours care, and to complement and support existing health services.

Nurse Practitioner

 

An enticing opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Prescriber to join our caring and friendly team at Whanganui Accident and Medical (WAM).

This is a permanent full-time or part-time position designed to provide an urgent care and after-hours medical service to the Whanganui community, covering a wide a range of acute minor injury and illness. The clinic operates a daily service, 8am to 9pm, with weekends and public holidays included.
